Leadber.com: The Story Behind Southeast Asia's First AI Lead Generation Platform

Every B2B business in Southeast Asia faces the same fundamental problem: finding qualified leads is slow, expensive, and largely manual. Cold calling from purchased lists yields response rates under 2%. LinkedIn outreach takes hours per prospect. Hiring business development staff in Singapore or Vietnam is costly and difficult to scale. Leadber was built to solve this problem — permanently.

The Origin Story

Big Mouth Marketing Pte Ltd started as a B2B marketing agency serving clients across Singapore, Vietnam, and Malaysia. Year after year, the single biggest challenge for clients was not messaging or branding — it was lead generation. "We could write great copy, but we had nothing to send it to," recalls the founding team. The first version of Leadber was a private internal tool built to automate the prospecting work the agency was doing manually.

Why Southeast Asia Is Different

SEA B2B markets have characteristics that Western SaaS tools ignore. WhatsApp is the primary business communication channel, not email. Decision-makers are often reachable directly on mobile. Languages span English, Vietnamese, Mandarin, Malay, and Bahasa Indonesia — sometimes within the same conversation. Any effective outreach platform needs to handle all of this natively.

Leadber was designed from day one for the SEA context: WhatsApp-first outreach with Meta-compliant templates, multi-language AI responses that detect and match the customer's language automatically, and lead discovery tuned for regional business directories and platforms.

The Technology Stack

At its core, Leadber combines three capabilities that no existing tool offered together: AI-powered lead discovery (finding the right companies and contacts), intelligent enrichment (phone numbers, emails, industry context), and automated outreach with a human-in-the-loop approval layer. The result is a workflow where a B2B salesperson can go from a brief description of their target customer to a qualified conversation in under ten minutes.

What's Next

Leadber is expanding across Southeast Asia, with Vietnam, Malaysia, and Indonesia as priority markets in 2026. Features under development include appointment scheduling via WhatsApp, CRM integrations with HubSpot and Salesforce, and a white-label version for marketing agencies. The mission remains unchanged: help every B2B business in Southeast Asia find, contact, and close the right customers.
